Terms of Use & Health Disclaimer

Swull Strength · Effective date: August 25, 2026 · Version 1

Read this before you train. Swull Strength gives you automatically generated workouts, weights, and progressions for educational purposes only. They are not medical advice. Strength training carries a real risk of injury, and you take part at your own risk. If anything here isn't clear, don't use the app until it is.

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using the Swull Strength website and app ("Swull," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use and Health Disclaimer and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility — you must be 18 or older

You must be at least 18 years old to use Swull. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older. Swull is not intended for and may not be used by anyone under 18.

3. Training & Health Disclaimer — educational purpose only

Everything Swull generates — workouts, weights, rep targets, and progressions — is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is produced automatically by software, is not individualized medical advice, and is not a substitute for professional judgment. Swull does not provide medical, physical-therapy, nutritional, or healthcare services, and no coach-client or provider-patient relationship is created by your use of the app.

4. Consult a professional before you start

Resistance training carries inherent risks. Before beginning or changing any exercise program, or acting on anything Swull suggests, you should consult a qualified physician — especially if you are pregnant, under a doctor's care, recovering from injury or surgery, or have any cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, metabolic, or other medical condition. Stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other symptom of distress.

5. Automated recommendations

Swull's recommendations — including the specific weights it puts in front of you — are generated by algorithms from the information you provide, such as your lifts, history, and equipment. Swull cannot determine whether a suggested weight or exercise is safe for you on a given day, and its recommendations can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Always apply your own judgment: a suggestion is never a command, and you should never attempt a weight or exercise you believe is unsafe or beyond your current ability.

6. Assumption of risk

You understand that resistance training and following any training plan involves a risk of serious injury. You voluntarily assume all such risks. You are solely responsible for training within your limits, using proper form and appropriate safety equipment (including spotters and safeties), selecting loads that are safe for you, and deciding whether to follow, modify, or ignore any suggestion Swull makes.

7. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree not to misuse the app. In particular, you will not attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours; interfere with, disrupt, or attack the service; scrape, reverse engineer, or copy the app except as the law allows; or use Swull for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual property

Swull — including the app, its name and branding, its programming logic, and the way workouts are generated and presented — belongs to the people who operate Swull Strength and is protected by law. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the app for your own training; they do not transfer any ownership to you.

9. Your information

You keep your own account information and training inputs. By using Swull you give us the permissions described in the Privacy Policy to store and process that information in order to operate the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter (for example, your starting weights).

10. Third-party services

Swull runs on Google Firebase and may integrate optional services such as Garmin. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Subscriptions and payments

Swull currently has no paid features. If we introduce subscriptions or purchases, we will show the applicable pricing, billing, and refund terms at that time, and this section will be updated.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Swull is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be achieved.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Swull Strength and the people who operate it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. If you follow the app's advice or training plans, you do so at your own risk.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover and hold harmless the people who operate Swull Strength from claims and expenses that arise out of your misuse of the app or your violation of these terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using Swull at any time, and you can delete your account and data from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service. The provisions that by their nature should survive — including the disclaimers, assumption of risk, limitation of liability, and indemnification — continue to apply after your account ends.

16. Changes to the service

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Swull at any time.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we materially update them, we will ask you to review and accept the current version before you continue using Swull. Continuing to use the app after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

18. Severability & entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Swull Strength regarding your use of the app.
